The thought of eating food with chopsticks can be quite intimidating. Here’s your five-step guide to correctly use chopsticks.
Step 1
Hold one of the sticks between your ring finger and base of your thumb and the middle finger. This chopstick has to remain stable at all times.
Step 2
Now, hold the second one just like a pencil — between the index finger and the thumb.

Step 3
Make sure chopsticks are not uneven. To make sure they are on the same level, tap the chopsticks on the table to make them even.
Step 4
Now try to place your chopsticks around the food. Make sure chopsticks don’t make an X. Your food should fit in in the space created between the two chopsticks.
Step 5
In case, you are not confident enough. Lift up the bowl or plate close to your mouth and eat to prevent a messy table.
