A dish with different names in different states but it tastes scrumptious. So, on this International Mother Language Day, we have decoded what is ‘kheer’ called in different languages. Kashmiris call it Phirni, while for Sindhi, it is called Kheerni. In Hyderabad, you’ll be treated with Gil-e-Firdaus and Jhangore ki Kheer in Uttarakhand.
