The festive season has officially begun and up on the itinerary first is the 10-day festival dedicated to the worship of the goddess Durga— Durga Puja. The celebrations marking this festival are all about larger than life Durga pandals, traditional Bengali sweets (ever tasted Sandesh?!) and delicacies like Dimer Devil, Fish Kobiraji, and Mughlai Paratha. While Kolkata remains the center 0f Durga Puja celebrations in the country, here in Delhi we have our own mini version of Kolkata in CR Park or Chittaranjan Park, where the festival is celebrated in the same style as it is in the ‘city of joy’.
So, here’s a list of seven food joints in CR Park, Delhi that you need to visit this Durga Puja:
1) Maa Tara
If you are looking for a place that offers traditional Bengali food at an economical price, Maa Tara is your place. There’s nothing fancy about this place, except that the food is totally amazing.

A small takeaway joint in CR Park’s market 2 is Kolkata Biryani House. Among other things, biryani is one thing that you should definitely try here. It’s aromatic and slightly less spicy, just the way we like it.
