Qube at the Leela Palace Hotel, Delhi – ‘The High Life’ (a 13-inch pizza)

This pizza is called “The High Life” and is brought to the table by the Chef himself. The pizza is topped with the best quality lobsters from Canada, an ounce of world’s best Iranian Beluga caviar and thyme-scented mascarpone. It is served with Grey Goose Vodka to enhance the taste of the lobster. This pizza will cost you Rs 10,000.

Chef’s Studio by Taj, Mumbai – Customised Meal

For an intricately put together meal customised for the guests, Taj Mumbai charges its customers Rs 1.5 lakhs for a meal for two. You can also watch the meal being prepared in the kitchen attached to the restaurant and also chat with the master chef.  Think you can handle it?

Anarkali, Hyderabad – Butter Chicken

The recipe for this butter chicken was developed in eight years by two software professionals. The dish uses Godrej chicken, a pack of Danish Lurpack unsalted butter, Hunt’s tomato paste, Filippo Berio olive oil and using Evian natural spring water. How much will it cost you? Rs 6000 for just a portion of this dish.

Wasabi at Taj, Delhi – Chef’s Tasting Menu

Legendary Chef Masaharu Morimoto, known to many as the Iron Chef, creates magic at Wasabi by Morimoto, Taj Mahal Hotel’s world-class contemporary Japanese restaurant. The grand restaurant also charges a considerable amount for Chef’s tasting menu or Omakase. This is a nine-course meal which includes Kobe steak and oysters and costs about Rs 20,000 only.

Vetro by Oberoi, Mumbai – Rack of Lamb

The rack of lambs is imported all the way from New Zealand and it is one of the most expensive meats in the whole world. The lamb is served for its elite connoisseurs and it is so delicious that they come back for more. This luxury meal at the super expensive restaurant costs Rs 4,000 for a plate.

Library Bar at the Leela Palace, Delhi – Cognac

Remy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl served at Library Bar in Leela Palace spells luxury and they serve 30ml of the champagne at a price of Rs 1.5 lakh. The reason behind the overpriced drink you ask? There are only 50 cases of the exquisite drink all over the world.

Rajbhog, Bangalore – Gold-plated Dosa

South Indians have a special place in heart for gold. But they just can’t seem to have enough of it. So they decided to create a 24k gold-plated dosa. The dosa costs Rs 10,011. We wonder if the price fluctuates with the price of gold.

Le Cirque at the Leela Palace Hotel, Delhi – Bistecca ‘alla Fiorentina’

Le Cirque is one of the most expensive restaurants in India. A dish called  Bistecca ‘alla Fiorentina’ is one of the most famous dishes of the restaurant which is served with a side of creamed spinach, potatoes, and black pepper. The Grilled Angus T-bone steak costs around Rs 8, 500.

Casablanca, Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi – Special VIP Meal

The Souk restaurant is located inside the kitchen and separated by a glass wall. The meal for two is served in crockery from the house of Versace. The place is decorated with Meditteranean artifacts but you can enter this super VIP area only by chef’s invitation. A meal for two here would cost you around Rs 20,000.
