1. Fear of hot food: Thermophobia
If you are scared of very hot food or drink as they might burn your mouth, you are suffering from thermophobia.
2. Fear of chopsticks: Consecotaleophobia
Some people might not know how to use chopsticks but then there are people who will not even go to any Asian restaurants due to the fear of having to eat with chopsticks. Using chopsticks can be embarrassment which may turn into anxiety for them.

3. Fear of food touching: Brumotactillophobia
You want your plate clean without any food touching any other dish, you could have brumotactillophobia. This phobia is a mild form of an obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). You probably like to enjoy every flavour separately and want your plate to look cleaner.
4. Fear of mushrooms: Mycophobia
Believe it or not, some people avoid eating mushrooms as they fear of eating a poisonous fungus.
5. Fear of vegetables: Lachanophobia
If you are paranoid about the vegetables served you or find them terrifying to gulp down your throat, you might have lachanophobia. The common reason could be that you are scared of ingesting a veggie bug or swallowing the seeds.

Apparently, there are people who have fear of eating cheese as they feel it may have worms, or it is rotten.
