It’s that time of the year again when colours and water balloons greet us everywhere we turn. But Holi is as much about colours as it is about eating delicacies and drinking thandai. Though gujiyas and dahi bhalla have dominated the lavish Holi spread, thandai holds the place of honour. Also known as Sardai, thandai is a milk-based beverage prepared extensively during festivals like Holi and Shivratri. The drink is consumed as a refreshment once you cannot play anymore Holi. But who are we kidding, colours or not, everyone loves to gulp down a glass either way.
