1. Puri: Making puri is a tedious job but this is the only thing that will take time and a bit of energy.

Ingredients

2 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp carom seed
2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp garam masala

2. Black Chana: Black chana is a quick and easy meal to make. It contains a mix of flavors and tastes best with puri and halwa.

250 grams kala channa
1 tbsp desi Ghee
1 tbsp jeera
1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4th tsp black pepper powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tsp aamchoor powder
salt to taste

3. Suji Halwa: Kanjak food is incomplete without suji halwa. Flavoured with dry fruits and garnished with almond, it is an essential part of the meal.

1 cup suji (semolina)
1/2 cup Desi ghee(clarified butter)
1 cup sugar
4 cups water
3-4 green cardamoms
2 tbsp hot milk
2 tbsp chopped almonds and cashew nuts
