It is that time of the year again when most parts of north, west and central India observe a fast for nine days of Navratra. During these nine days, it is strictly prohibited to consume alcohol and non-vegetarian food. During these fasts, people also avoid eating grains, onion, garlic etc. So boring, right? And we all know that following a bland diet for nine days can be a pain. But there’s no reason that you should only have the same old, boring fasting food during festivals. We bring to you seven recipes to make the fasting days a bit more interesting.
Kuttu ka dosa
Move over the usual kuttu puris and try something different. We present to you kuttu ka dosa. It is super simple to prepare just that instead of a dosa mix you use kuttu ka atta (buckwheat flour) with a potato filling.
