‘Dog meat curry, tandoori rats and fried snake eyeballs’ if that’s your idea of North-Eastern cuisine, we urge you to hold a placard saying ‘Mildly Racist’.
Contrary to popular belief, NE cuisine is simple but flavourful with loads of fresh ingredients, local greens, bamboo shoot and herbs. The food you get in the North-East is different from what North Indians eat but they certainly have a lavish spread. To break this stereotype, we decided to ask few North Indians to taste Northeastern cuisine (one dish from every state). Watch the video to experience their culinary adventure.
