India is a diverse country, but one thing that’s common wherever you go is our habit of eating with our hands. Well, at least largely. Don’t you find it a struggle to eat a piece of chicken with fork and knife? Isn’t fun to eat with hands? But ever thought what people, especially foreigners, think who watch us eating with hands and licking our fingers? Do they get uncomfortable or they are fine with it? So, we found this Quora thread that reveals what actually they think when they see Indians eating with their hands and licking their fingers and palm.

So that’s that. It’s not just Indians who love to eat with their hands or lick their fingers. In America, one of the most common hand foods is pizza, another one is hamburger, chips, french fries, and sandwiches. It is burritos, tacos, quesadillas in the South of the border, while in Europe, bread, olives, and cheese classic are considered as hand food.

BTW, eating with the hands is not necessarily easy!
