What is the first thing that comes to your mind when we talk about poop? Dirty? Obnoxious? Food? Nah, definitely not food. I mean, not in “that” way, of course! But not for this Canadian restaurateur Lien Nguyen who clearly thinks that humankind needs to be reminded of poop while eating!

And if you don’t believe us, google this poop-themed restaurant, known as Poop Café Dessert Bar right now. This cafe has food items prepared in the shape of poop! What’s more interesting is that almost all the dishes on the cafe’s menu are presented in a toilet pot-styled bowl. Guess, Lien’s dream of serving stool to her customers has finally come true! And if this was not enough, this eatery has become the new sensation on the internet.

The café, which opened in Toronto’s Koreatown, is the first-ever poop-themed dessert business in North America.
Talking to the Toronto Star, the culinary management graduate said that she is trying to make poop cute! “I first came across the idea when she was visiting her mom in Taiwan a few years ago,” she added. “We checked out a toilet-themed restaurant called Modern Toilet and I just loved it. It’s funny to put food and poop together; it’s a great comparison. It stayed in my mind for a long time. As soon as I finished school, I said, ‘OK, I’m going to bring the restaurant to Toronto.’”
