Lizards! The name is enough to give you goosebumps. Right? Many of us don’t like or you can say fear lizards and try every possible means to get them out of our houses. And if you are a little superstitious, then you must know that presence of a lizard is believed to be a bad omen in Hinduism. Not only this, falling off a lizard on you is also considered as bad luck, but it can also bring some good luck depending on the body part on which it has fallen. Strange, isn’t it! Well, this is just one part of it and trust us guys, the other part is way more creepy.

Ok, so most us have grown up listening to many tales about why we do not get to see lizards, especially on Diwali from our Grandmothers. But we still are clueless as to how these two things are even related. For those of you who do not know anything about the subject, allow us to enlighten you. So basically, it is believed that spotting a lizard on Diwali brings financial good luck to the person. Yes, you read that right! In fact, many people also worship the reptile so that it brings good luck and wealth.
