Lisa Haydon, who gave birth to son Zack Lalvani two months back, recently posted a breastfeeding picture of herself on Instagram on the occasion of World Breastfeeding Week. While many women around the world are doing their bit and fighting for their rights to breastfeed in public without being shamed, Lisa and many other celebs also decided to take the front seat, which is truly commendable.
In fact, the actress shared a very beautiful message with the picture which reads, ”I’ve gotten loads of posts asking about life after having my son… esp to do with weight and fitness. Seeing as it’s World Breastfeeding Week- time to give some credit where credit is due. Breastfeeding has played such a big part in getting back into shape after giving birth to my baby. Breastfeeding has been challenging+time consuming (literally hours spent everyday trying to stimulate milk supply) but it’s such a beautiful way to bond and connect with your child plus all the nutritional benefits that your child gets from your milk. Look out for my blog post on mycityforkids.com on breastfeeding. Happy #worldbreastfeedingweek.”
Not only Lisa but B-Town beauties like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Lara Dutta, Konkona Sen Sharma and many others have earlier came out in support of breastfeeding. But it is disappointing to see that many of us still don’t understand the value and importance of it and continues to troll celebs who come out in support of the cause. Well, the same happened with Lisa Haydon. Soon after the actress shared her picture with the baby, Instagrammers got offensive and post some really nasty comments.
Keeping all the negativity aside, here’s a look at some of the celeb moms who normalise breasts and breastfeeding:
Alanis Morissette
Alyssa Milano
Natalia Vodianova
Gwen Stefani
Gisele Bundchen
