The festive season is almost here with Navaratri starting on September 21. The nine-day festival is celebrated across all the states of India but its significance differs from state to state. However, one thing that is common and applies to all is new clothes, elaborate decoration, dances and food (at least for the Bengalis). It is also the time when we wish to get dressed in our brightest and most colourful clothes, grab that dandiya stick and dance the night away. So to help you out with that, here’s a list of Garba and Dandiya nights being hosted across Delhi this Navratri season.

Navratri Celebration: Garba Dandiya Raas
Where: Zorba, The Buddha
Date: September 27- September 29 (6.45 pm– 8.30 pm)
Zorba is known to host some of the most happening events and its Dandiya nights are no exception. They even have dance instructors to teach basics of Dandiya for the beginners. This is accompanied by foot tapping music and Rajasthani and Gujarati cuisine.

Bollywood Dandiya Raas
Where: Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon
Date: September 22 – September 24 (7:00 pm to 11:00 pm)
Kingdom of Dreams is hosting Bollywood Dandiya Raas for the fifth time now. This lively hub of performing art promises a fun-filled night this year too. Attended by more than 12,000 participants from all across India they have a lineup of singers and Dandiya performers for the night. Price of the passes starts from Rs 499.

Aarambh – 2017: Navratri Festival – Raas Garba & Dandiya
Where: Sur Tal, Talkatora Garden, Shankar Road, Delhi
When: September 22- September 24
Enjoy Dandiya for a cause because the money collected by this event goes to charity for specially-abled people. There are also traditional Gujarati folk dancers, mouth-watering food, traditional music, and non-stop freestyle dandiya. The price of a single day pass costs Rs 590.

Raas Dandiya Carnival
Where: Garden of Five Senses
When: September 29 (5:00 pm to 10:00 pm)
Raas Dandiya Carnival is an Indo-western dandiya night with dandiya beats, fusion band, DJ and Dhol. There are various artists and DJs performing with good food, games and stalls. Entry tickets are priced at Rs 900 for single entry and Rs 1400 for couple entry.

Dandiya Night 2017
Where: K and L Community Park, Sarita Vihar, New Delhi
When: September 28 (7:00PM – 10:30PM)
Create a memorable night dressed in Garba clothes at the Navratri celebrations at Dandiya Night 2017. Amidst the colourful stalls of traditional handicrafts, visitors can expect to experience entertainment galore. Tickets start from Rs 150 onwards.
