The worst feeling of life is when somebody eats the last piece of pizza, which you were eyeing on. Okay, cool. Breakups are the worst. I know the feeling when you just want to be in the bed, constantly check the phone. You realise how it feels when heartbreaks. It hurts. That’s the time when you understand the meaning of the quote “I Love Walking In The Rain So No one Knows That I’m Crying.” And last but not the least, you try to figure out how you gonna survive the world.
But do you know that most breakups take place just after the Valentine week?
Are you stuck in an unwanted relationship and want to break free? It might seem cruel, but why not this year, do your breakup thing on Valentine’s Day. I understand the pain that would come with a breakup on V-day, or even in the week. We plan everything and suddenly a day or two before or after, your then girlfriend/boyfriend tells you “I think we should breakup, it’s not you, it’s me…blah..blah..blah.”
In fact, as the legend says, Valentine’s Day is actually the most unromantic day. The Day commemorates the death of St. Valentine, a priest who secretly married lovers in Rome during the reign of the ruthless emperor named Claudius II. He had outlawed marriage in order to recruit soldiers for his army. For this, St. Valentine was imprisoned, and eventually beheaded on the date we know today as Valentine’s Day.

So, if you are already planning to breakup, this is the day when you should cut loose the threads of a dead relationship. Breaking up before or after February 14 will certainly waste all your planning. Breaking up is one way to show the world that now you are single, unattached and which day else would be better to do that.
Breaking up is about freedom. Freedom from emotions, freedom from calling somebody day and night, freedom from the boundations of thinking about somebody all the time.
Breaking up hurts, but the tough call needs to be taken!
