It’s time to celebrate love with the cuddle, it’s Teddy Da. On this day, teddies of various colours like pink, red, black, brown, etc. are gifted by a lover to their beloved but do you know that each colour signifies something special and gives a message. Like roses, the colour of teddy can also be used to express your feelings.

Here is what each colour means:

Green says ‘I am waiting’: Green, the colour of harmony and nature states that I am yours and will always wait for you.

Black means rejection: Gifting a black teddy means, the person doesn’t want you to be part of his/her life.

Red says ‘love is in the air’: The colour of power, red is also the colour of love and gifting a red coloured teddy means that I can’t resist you.

White says I am booked: The colour of purity means, ‘Sorry, I am already booked’. If you receive it from your crush then it is time to move on and find someone who can offer you that sense of belongingness.

Orange says ‘I am interested in you’: I can be described as the colour to begin new love stories. If somebody gifts you orange teddy this time, he/she may soon propose you to be his/her partner.

Pink is for yes: The pretty pink is all about yes. It symbolises nurturing love. Receiving it from your crush means that the person also likes and adores you.

Purple says no: Receiving purple teddy means that the person is not interested in you for the time being but possibilities of a positive reply can arise in future.

Yellow says goodbye: Although the yellow is the colour of sunshine, but gifting a yellow teddy means it is time to say goodbye and move on.
