Christmas is here and so is the season to be jolly! We wait throughout the year just for this beautiful festival where we get to meet one and only Santa Claus and sing Christmas carols.
I remember when I was a kid, I used to eagerly wait for the Christmas morning to check my cupboard or my drawing room for those small and lovely gifts that Santa used to leave behind. I used to hear stories of the legend Santa Claus and how he made sure to keep every child happy by giving away cute and wonderful toys. And then, I used to wonder how does he make sure to enter my place when there is no chimney at all. However, later later I realised that the gifts I used to get on Christmas were from my mum and dad, and no Santa.
And as I grew older, slowly I stopped believing in urban legends, beautiful myths regarding Santa Claus, especially how he used to come all the way from Finland just to make our season jolly. Interestingly, today morning while checking my Insta feed, saw some amazing pictures which were tagged as Santa hometown. Tada! I am back to my childhood. Yes, there is a place in Finland called, Lapland which is said to be the hometown of Santa Claus! Check out the amazing pictures:
Curious me! and I am sure so are you people to know about this place. This picturesque beautiful landscape is a paradise. Don’t believe me? Believe these pictures and videos below:
