The most awaited film of the year, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion has been released. Jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devi, the film is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning. The war drama stars Telugu superstar Prabhas in dual roles, as the father-son duo – Amarendra Baahubali and Mahendra Baahubali. Baahubali 2 stars Anushka Shetty in the female lead.
As expected, Baahubali 2 opened to an earth-shattering response at the ticket windows across the Telugu states. Be it Nizam, Ceded or Andhra Pradesh, the SS Rajamouli film has set records in every part of the Telugu states. Baahubali 2 has minted nearly Rs. 37.3 crore in Andhra Pradesh whereas in Ceeded and Nizam the film earned Rs. 7.2 crore and Rs. 13.5 crore respectively. The film has broken every record set by its prequel, Baahubali: The Beginning and this year’s biggest Telugu blockbuster Chiranjeevi starrer Khaidi No 150 at the Tollywood Box Office. At the end of its opening day. Baahubali 2 collected a record-breaking amount Rs 58 crore at the Telugu Box Office.

The pre-release hype, the massive advance booking and the brand ‘SS Rajamouli’ has worked in favour of the film and helped it record extraordinary collections on its opening day. And the early Saturday trends suggests that Baahubali 2 is rock-steady everywhere and another mammoth total is on the cards for the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati film.
Baahubali 2 also stars Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Nassar, Tamannaah Bhatia and Rohini in important roles. The crux of many rave reviews that Baahubali: The Conclusion received was that even if you would wish to miss the movie because of the predictable story line, you shouldn’t as it offers a cinematic experience that will make you ecstatic.
