The much awaited film of the decade, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Conclusion is just a day away from its grand theatrical release. The film, jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao and Prasad Devineni is a sequel to the 2015 blockbuster Baahubali: The Beginning. Baahubali 2 features Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Prabhas in lead roles.
The film was in news ever since the makers had released the trailer of the film. The two-minute and twenty-four-second long trailer went on to become the most watched and most liked Indian film trailer including 100 million views on YouTube. The hype for the film is huge considering that the film is releasing in a record number of screens in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages. Baahubali 2 is also eyeing a record breaking Box Office opening.

1) Record number of screens:
Baahubali 2 is all set to create history as the SS Rajamouli film is releasing on a record number of 8000 screens worldwide, which is the highest ever for any Indian film till date. The massive advance booking of the film suggests a record breaking opening on its opening day. Be it single screens or multiplexes, the craze for the film is unheard and is sure to record a phenomenal day 1 at the Box Office.
2) Special preview shows on Thursday:
Due to huge public demand, special preview shows are being planned across the Telangana state. And without any surprise, all shows have already been sold out like hot cakes.
3) Biggest release at the Kerala Box Office:
Though the Telugu version is all set to open big, the Malayalam dubbed version too will follow the same as per the early trends.
The first shows are scheduled to start at 6:00 AM at the majority of cinema halls across Kerala. At some places, special fan shows are scheduled to begin at 3:00 am, which is note even heard for any of the Malayalam superstar films, including Mammootty and Mohanlal’s films.

4) Biggest non-Hindi release in North India:
Baahubali 2 is all set to repeat the same magic which the film’s prequel, Baahubali: The Beginning had done at the Bollywood Box Office in 2015. Baahubali 1 was the first dubbed film to mint Rs 100 crore in India. The film’s North India distributor, Bollywood director Karan Johar hasn’t wasted any chance to release the sequel in a record number of screens. It won’t be surprising if the Hindi version of the film succeeds to collect more than Rs 20 crore on its opening day.
5) Record release in USA:
Baahubali 2 is set to have record number of screens overseas as well. The Prabhas, Rana Daggubati starrer is releasing in 1000 screens across the cinemas of USA, which is the biggest Indian release till date at the USA Box Office. Also, the ticket prices of the film have been hiked to 40 dollars each, which clearly tells many Indian Box Office records are sure to be broken.
