The Indian cricket team is currently having a gala time in the neighbouring island nation after defeating the home side by 3-0 in the Test series. The players are chilling in their own ways ahead of the ODI series which is going to start from August 20. Meanwhile, Lankan batsman Chamara Kapugedera had a fan moment with Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma who also joined the Indian cricket team in Sri Lanka.
Kapugedera will be appearing for the forthcoming 5-match ODI series against India and is currently spending time with his team on the nets. After the session, he took the opportunity to have a selfie with Anushka and shared it on social media.
The Sri Lankan cricketer took to his official Instagram handle and shared the picture where she termed the Indian actress as stunning. He also referred her ‘humble soul’ and revealed that Anushka is his celebrity crush. The caption read,”Stunning @anushkasharma #humblesoul #bestinbollywood #celebcrush.”

For the upcoming series ODI series, several changes have been made on both the sides. In the Indian squad, Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami have been rested for the series. As a result, youngsters like Manish Pandey, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal and Shardul Thakur have been included in the squad. Senior players like Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Raina were not included in the side.
On the other hand, Sri Lanka Test skipper Dinesh Chandimal has been dropped from the team for the disappointing performance of the team in the Tests and losing the series by 3-0. Upul Tharanga will be leading the side in the ODIs and T20s.
