Kapil Sharma, whose flagship show The Kapil Sharma Show has lost much of its steam since the absence of fellow comedian Sunil Grover, has a surprise guest for the viewers this week. Till now, it is yet to be seen whether Grover returns to the show or not.
Recently, the channel which airs the show had put up a teaser on the surprise appearance for the show this week. It had triggered immense speculation whether Sharma had found a replacement for Grover, who essays the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi. But this is not the case. It was none other than Raveena Tandon who was the celebrity guest. Social media was abuzz with selfie clicked by Sharma along with Raveena. Since the alleged in-flight brawl from Melbourne to Mumbai, Grover has not returned for shooting. It is also reported that co-actors Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar have also boycotted TKSS. The last weekend’s episode was also a dull one as Kapil Sharma failed to get his comic act right.
Recently, there were reports that the channel was not keen on extending the contract of the show, thereby compounding Sharma’s misery. The comedian who is also shooting for his upcoming film Firangi, had tweeted an apology to Grover but the latter retorted by advising him to stop behaving like a God. It is clear that Grover is really upset on allegedly being slapped and abused on the flight by a drunk Kapil Sharma.
