As Jallikattu protests enters the fourth day, crowd continues to increase at the Marina Beach in Chennai against the ban.
DMK workers also joined in the protest and halted a train at Mambalam railway station while holding ‘Rail Roko’ protest. Present their was DMK’s working President MK Stalin who got detained by Chennai police. He was released later.
Matter got out of hand when protesters broke the barricading to enter the Mambalam railway station.
Seeing gravity of the situation, Tamil Nadu Chief Minster also made a statement in which he assured protesters that in 1-2 days Jallikattu will be organised and plead to withdraw agitation immediately.

In Rameswaram all shops are closed today in suppport on Jallikattu.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, O. Panneerselvam had a meeting with Prime Minister Modi on January 19.
Yesterday, academy award winner musician A.R.Rahman, on a tweet wrote that on January 20 he will sit on a fast to protest against the ban on the famous bull taming sport.
Earlier, many actors from South like superstar Rajnikanth, Kamal Hasan and others have voiced their support against the ban.
On Januray 18 in a bizarre incident, a man buried himself in sand near Marina beach as Jallikattu protest intensifies across the state.
As the agitation grows across Tamil Nadu, protesters from Madurai to Chennai join in, they also demand banning on PETA.
