Kaabil and Raees have hit the silver screen. The two big films are facing each other in a big Box Office clash. And the audience must have already chosen their pick for their first day first show. While it will be a long bet to make which film is to lead in the race, a small analysis of Kaabil vs Raees Box Office collections is done below.

According to the advance booking trend in the country, SRK’s Raees is far ahead than Hrithik’s Kaabil. And this will definitely give the Rahul Dholakia film an edge over the Sanjay Gupta directorial in terms of the opening day collection. While the tickets for Raees have already been sold out at major places — Pune, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Rajasthan, Delhi and UP; Kaabil’s occupancy is more than the opening day of Mohenjo Daro. This also means that even though Kaabil will not be able to surpass the opening day collection of Raees, it’s opening day business will prove to be better than that of Hrithik’s last release — Mohenjo Daro.

Another very important factor that could really play the trump card in deciding the Box Office success of these films is the price of their tickets. The theatre owners have decided to sell Raees on the ‘festive ticket’ price while Kaabil’s tickets are cheaper. Post the two of its release, when the content of a film takes over the buzz, it would be interesting to see which film goes ahead in the race. As of now, the opening day Box Office expectations for Kaabil is Rs 10-11 crore while Raees is expected to rake in between Rs 20-22 crore. Post Friday though, the film which has a better content will take over the maximum business.
