Karan Johar’s forthcoming biography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ has opened many doors of discussion in tinsel vile. In an excerpt of the book that was published in Times of India, Karan revealed that everyone knew his sexual orientation and the thought of speaking about it always was alien to him. In the same excerpt, KJo also spoke about his bond with Shah Rukh Khan. The noted filmmaker accepted of being effected by rumours about him and King Khan.
For years now, there have been many conjecture about Karan’s and SRK’s relationship as something else. Addressing these, Karan said it really bothered him when people discussed such things about them. Karan’s words in the book read:
I was on a show on a Hindi channel, and I was asked about Shah Rukh.’Yeh anokha rishta hai aap ka,’ the interviewer said. He worded it in such a way that I got really angry. I said, ‘If I asked you if you are sleeping with your brother, how will you feel?’ So he said, ‘What do you mean? How can you ask me this question?’ I said, ‘How could you ask me this question?
Karan Johar added that no matter what the ups and downs SRK and he went through, the actor would always remain a father figure and an elder brother to him. The head honcho of Dharma Productions added that King Khan remained unfazed by these rumours. In fact, once when Shah Rukh was asked what would he do if he woke up as Karan Johar, the actor said that according to rumors he would wake up with the director.

A look at Karan’s candid confessions suggest that sly comments about his personal life did trouble him at some point of time. But now it seems that he had learnt to not give too much of his time pondering over them.
