The much-awaited music album of Ilayathalapathy Vijay-starrer Bairavaa is slated to hit music stores on Friday, 23 December, 2016.
Initially, the maker, B. Bharathi Reddy of Vijaya Productions had planned a grand music release for the album but later dropped the plans as the Tamil superstar requested him to cancel the event as a mark of respect to the late former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa. Following this, Bharathi Reddy cancelled the plans and now the album will directly hit music stores on 23 December.
The music of Bairavaa has been done by Kabali composer Santhosh Narayanan. The young music composer has directed five songs for the film, including a song, ‘Papa Papa‘ sung by Vijay himself. The album also has a Tamil-English rap song written and sung by Arunraja Kamaraj and Roshan Jamrock. Another song, titled Varlaam Varlaam, is also the theme song of Bairavaa , which was used in the teaser, which went viral on social media. The teaser, which had released on the auspicious occasion of Diwali has so far clocked 12 million views on YouTube.
Santhosh Narayanan took to his Twitter page to share the track list of Bairavaa. He tweeted:
