Mourners In New Zealand Pay Tribute To Christchurch Victims By Performing Haka

New Zealand’s Christchurch saw one of the most horrific terror attacks on March 15, that claimed over 50 lives and injured many.

From biker groups to students from different schools in New Zealand, performed their traditional Haka dance to express their solidarity to the victims of this terror attack.

The Haka dance, a ceremonial custom of the indigenous Polynesian people of New Zealand is an ancient war dance that was performed both on battlefields as well as during times of peace

With rhythmical shouting, vigorous movements and foot stampings, New Zealanders showed it to the world how they protect, and mourn, for their own .

Have stayed quiet about the New Zealand massacre because I didn’t know how to encapsulate all my grief, rage, sadness and shame. But I keep watching these Haka tributes with shivers. Standing next to my NZ brothers and sisters from across the water. ♥️
