Renuka Shahane is known to be vocal about the burning issues in the country. She expressed her opinions when new details emerged in the murder case of 7-year-old Pradyuman. The young boy was murdered in the premises of Ryan International School, Gurugram, sending shock waves across the nation. It put the spotlight on the question – how safe are our schools? After CBI took over the investigation, it outdid the initial probe conducted by Harayan police which had put the bus conductor as guilty. A thorough CBI investigation suggested that a class XI student slit Pradyuman’s throat since he wanted to postpone exams.
Now talking about the new turn of events, Renuka lashed out at the investigating officers and the management of the school for such a botched-up probe. She said that humanity had died a slow death and resorting to violence was not ‘cool’ at all. The actress went on to say the poor conductor was made a scapegoat and that it was only because he was poor that he came under suspicion.
Here is her hard-hitting Facebook post which will make you question humanity and how we treat the less privileged of the society:

While we still can’t concretely say who killed Pradyuman, it is extremely unfortunate that the boy lost his life. New details point towards the lack of responsibility of the Haryana police in the early stages of the probe. If CBI’s findings turn out to be true, will the police be held accountable?
