Hundreds of young aspirants outside the office of Staff Selection Commission (SSC)
in New Delhi are not celebrating Holi this year. Because, they are on a protest against the SSC authorities over an alleged paper leak scam in the recently held Combined Graduate Level Examination.
SSC recruits government employees in various central government ministries and departments. The aspirants allege that during the CGL Tier II examination held between February 17 to 22, their answer sheets and question papers were compromised.
On protests since last week, the students are demanding the cancellation of the examination and a CBI inquiry into the matter.
SSC has flip-flopped over the issue and asked students to furnish evidence of the alleged paper leak scam.
According to students, they will continue with protests until their demands are not met.
