This head constable from Karnataka’s Hubli is the new internet sensation. Chandrakant Hutgi converted his lathi (cane ) into a flute to play folk songs. “Playing the flute has been my hobby since high school. However, due to the long working hours, I did not get time. So I decided to do something to the lathi and drilled holes into it” Hutgi told ANI.
His talent was lauded by Bengaluru’sAdditional DG of Police, Bhaskar Rao who awarded him a cash prize. Rao also shared a video of Hutgi’s performance on Twitter which has since gone viral with over 1 lakh views.
