Twitter users celebrate #PromiseDay with a twist

Let's make a promise that we will never make a promise that we can't keep

Valentine’s Day will get here in three days, and if you don’t give two hoots about the upcoming Hug Day or Kiss Day, then you are probably sniggering as googly-eyed lovers pass by you or leave sweet nothings on each other’s social media timelines.

The dawn of February 11 saw “#PromiseDay” trending on Twitter. As lovers promise the moon and back to each other, some weren’t particularly thrilled to follow suit with the googly-eyed promises.

So, some disillusioned-with-love Twitterati made a couple of unique promises on the day.
