Do not anger the big cat!

A huge leopard was seen entering a house in Kuruli village in Kantabanji forest range in Odisha last week. The big cat was initially spotted around 6 am by a young boy while entering the house. The animal was finally caught by the forest department personnel after undergoing a rigorous 12-hour-long ordeal.

According to the reports, the leopard was seen hiding in a cowshed during the day and when the villagers tried to get hold of him, the leopard attempted to pounce one of the villagers, resulting in a mayhem among the people. By the time a rescue mission was launched, the leopard had already tried to attack one of the villagers and entered a house.

A video was captured by an onlooker where the giant cat is seen jumping off the roof trying to pounce a forest personnel. As a part of the rescue mission, the forest department official climbed up the roof of the house where the leopard was hiding. But in turn, the angry leopard climbed up the roof and tried to pounce the poor officer who was on a rescue mission. The video captures the chaos created by the animal and the terror-stricken villagers running away in an erratic motion.
