A 21-year-old woman succumbed to her wounds on Tuesday morning after being allegedly stabbed 27-28 times by a stalker in Burari area of Delhi, ANI reported.
The victim’s death sparked protests outside Sushruta Trauma Centre wherein she was admitted, forcing the Centre to step into the matter.

“This is a brutal case and I will ask the Police commissioner for a factual report in the case,” Kiren Rijiju, MoS Home, told reporters.
The girl’s family members formed human chain outside the trauma centre, demanding her killers be brough to book.
Aditya Malik, who stays in Rohini, had been harassing my sister for a long time. Six months ago, we had lodged a complaint and he had calmed down,” the victim’s brother said.
“The man thought that girl was in love with someone. To extract revenge, he stabbed her multiple times,” Madhur Verma (DCP, North Delhi), said.
