5 best honeymoon destinations for Yuvraj Singh-Hazel Keech

Indian batting star Yuvraj Singh is finally married. He tied the knot with his fiancee Hazel Keech in a close-knit ceremony at a gurudwara in Fatehgarh Sahib. The couple will get married again as per Hindu rituals in Goa on Friday. There will be a sangeet and reception on December 5 and 7 respectively in New Delhi.

Now, where do they head for a honeymoon? Well, it is entirely the couple’s personal choice whether or not they would like to go out on a holiday. And this city holds significance for Yuvi as he played a memorable knock of 110 against the West Indies at the Premdasa Stadium in Colombo 11 years ago. The knock helped India beat the Caribbeans by seven runs to proceed to the final of the tri-series also involving the hosts.

4. Wellington: Also known as the coolest little capital city of the world, Wellington boasts of several cultural events and beautiful spots. In case the couple land here, they should not forget to travelling by the famous Wellington Cable Car.

The city holds significance for Yuvi as he played a crucial knock of 54 against New Zealand during the 2002/03 tour. He stood firm on one end as wickets tumbled, later stitching a crucial 48-run partnership with Zaheer Khan for the eighth wicket which helped India win the match.

5. London: The historic NatWest series final in 2002 is remembered as one of India’s finest victories on foreign soil. It was Yuvraj Singh who played a pivotal knock of 69 in the innings. His 121-run partnership with Mohammad Kaif helped the Men in Blue trounce England by two wickets and lift the trophy.
