Olympic silver-medallist wrestler Sushil Kumar qualified for 2018 Commonwealth games after beating Jitender Kumar in 74 kg category and made headlines. However, an unfortunate incident took place between the alleged supporters of Sushil and fellow wrestler Praveen Rana as they engaged in a fight off the mat.
In a video posted by ANI the alleged supporters can be seen going haywire against each other. Few of them can be seen lying on the floor after the outbreak. They can be seen throwing bottles and chairs on each other in an ugly brawl. The video also shows a group of people bashing up Rana’s brother.

Sushil condemned these malicious acts and also thanked his guru Satpal Singh and Baba Ramdev while talking to media after the qualification match.
It’s very unfortunate and highly condemnable what has happened today at the stadium. I do not support anyone who gets violence in between sportsmanship. My aim is to fight & win for my Nation like a true sportsman & not to win against any group or individual #JaiHind
