Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed is often trolled on Twitter for not being able to converse in English properly during press conferences or presentations. It seems like Sarfraz has brushed up his communication skills or the anger got it out of him when he asked Martin Guptill to not interfere in his conversation with the umpire in a rather bizarre manner.
It all started when Guptill struck the ball over the roof of the stadium in the last over of powerplay. The umpires had to call for a replacement ball in the next over as the previous one was nowhere to be found.
Sarfraz wanted to slow the run rate down as Kiwis were off to a flyer scoring 51 runs from the first six overs. He introduced leg-spinner Shadab Khan. The skipper was not happy with the replacement ball maybe because it was not old enough. He had a chat with the umpire and that’s when Guptill tried to interfere.
Sarfraz did not seem to like it one bit and angrily retorted, “I am not talking to you, okay? F*** off.”
Even the commentators had a hard time controlling their laughter listening to this conversation. Here’s the video of the incident –

Guptill went on to frustrate Pakistan players for 7 more overs before getting out to Shadab. He scored 59 runs from 43 balls including 2 fours and 4 sixes.
Shadab, on the other hand, was named ‘Man of the Match’ for bowling a match-winning spell of four overs where he picked up 2 wickets and gave just 19 runs at an economy rate of 4.75.
Pakistan made a comeback and won the T20I series by 2-1 after not being able to win a single match in the ODI series.
