After going 2-0 up in the 3-match T20 series, Sri Lankans will be hoping for a whitewash when they will take on hosts Australia in the third and the final Twenty20 international match at Adelaide on February 22. The Australians, who would be playing this dead rubber have nothing to lose; so, they can go all guns blazing. On the other hand, Sri Lanka would be hoping to whitewash the Australians and create history in the process. The live streaming of the match will be available on Hotstar.com and the live telecast on Skysports.
It is rare when you see a sub-continental team thrashing Australia and going 2-0 up in a 3-match T20I series. But it has happened and it could get worse if they lose today. The match is being played at the Adelaide Oval, which is a small ground and considering that, it could be a high scoring affair. This also means the spectators would have a great time watching the balls sail into the crowds. This is also going to be Sri Lanka’s first T20 match at this venue.
