Australia vs South Africa: This catch by JP Duminy to dismiss Starc is stunning

South African bowlers wreck havoc again as they dismissed Australia for 85 runs. Vernon Philander took 5 wickets to annihilate the Kangaroos

Australia and South Africa are playing the second Test match in the series at Hobart. South African bowlers wreck havoc again as they dismissed Australia for 85 runs. Vernon Philander took 5 wickets to annihilate the Kangaroos. Kyle Abott took 3 wickets. Captain Steve Smith remained not out for 48 runs. The batsman with the second highest runs was Joe Mennie who got out at a personal score of 10. The rest of the Australian batting line up just gifted their wickets to South African pace attack.

Except for Philander’s terrorising pace bowling, there was another bright spot in the first innings- the superb catch by JP Duminy. Duminy was standing at gully when Mitchell Starc nicked a ball there. Duminy dived full-length to his right and took a clean catch. Not on any moment he looked looked like he was not in control.

In reply, South Africa started carefully as they 43 for no loss at tea. However, after tea they lost 4 wickets in quick succession. Mitchell Starc 3 wickets whereas Hazelwood took 1 wicket. South Africa were looking to consolidate lead on Australia.

In the first test also, Australia were not able to tackle the pace attack of the Proteas. Philander had taken 4 wickets in the first innings. Kagiso Rabada also joined the party as he took a five-wicket haul to derail the Australian chase. Australia lost the Test match by 177 runs.
