'Cricket Will Be Poorer Without ABD', Cricket Fans Get Emotional On AB de Villiers' Retirement

Former South African captain and one of the most explosive batsmen in cricket, AB de Villiers stunned all after he announced his sudden retirement from international cricket on May 23.

ABD, who featured in 114 Tests, 228 ODIs and 78 T20Is for South Africa, shared a video on his official Twitter handle to announce his retirement from all forms of international cricket with immediate effect. ABD’s retirement came days after his Indian Premier League franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Following ABD’s sudden retirement, his fans and cricketers all over the world, including Sachin Tendulkar, took to Twitter to post emotional messages as they said ‘cricket will be poorer without him’.
