Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma, the only batsman to score two double hundred in One-Day Internationals (ODIs), is the ‘King of Romance’ among the Indian cricketers. His photos with his wife Ritika Sajdeh on Twitter, Instagram, and other social media sites is a testimony to that. Rohit Sharma, who made his ODI debut against Ireland in 2007, tied the nuptial knot with Ritika Sajdeh on 13 December 2015. Interestingly, before tying the knot, Rohit Sharma and Ritika already knew each other for about more than six years.
They both met as professionals. Ritika is a sports event manager and used to take care of Rohit’s cricket engagements as his manager. They then turned friends and soon their friendship blossomed into love. According to several media reports, after 6 years of dating each other, Rohit Sharma went down on his knees and proposed Ritika at the Borivali Sports Club in Mumbai, where he started his career at the age of 11. And Ritika said yes! They got engaged in April 2015.
Have a look at some of the pictures of Rohit Sharma with his wife Ritika which he shared on his Instagram account:
