Indian spinner Amit Mishra recently shared a picture on social media which clearly indicates that how the thick smog has now started affecting cricket matches. After attacking people’s lives in Delhi, the increased levels of air pollution has reached Lahli where Haryana is playing Rajasthan. However, the smog interrupted the game on third day while the game couldn’t start on day four due to poor visibility.
Haryana Ranji team skipper Mishra took to his official Twitter account to share a picture which shows the weather condition. The heavy smog covering the entire cricket field could be seen clearly in the picture. Amid this situation, the players of both the sides are waiting for the game to start.

Amit Mishra-led Haryana were rooting for victory on the final day after a lead of 252 runs on the third day. Rajasthan were bundled for 150 in the first innings after which they took a 73 run lead in the first innings before being 179 for 5 at stumps on day 3. Haryana has a good chance to register their first victory in the season which could help them improve their position in the points table.
This smog has also delayed the ongoing Ranji match between the Services and Goa at the at the Air Force Ground in Palam.
Following the worsening condition of air quality in Delhi, all schools and colleges in Delhi have been shut till Sunday, November 12. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has also restricted the movement of trucks except those carrying essential commodities inside the national capital. Apart from this, the Delhi Metro has also announced that it would run more trains on several routes to accommodate more commuters.
