Anushka Shetty REVEALS she had a crush on Rahul Dravid

Baahubali 2 have given fans many reasons to gush about the movie and now the actress has given us a similar reason

While the world is busy speculating Anushka and her Baahubali co-star Prabhas’s relationship status, the actress just revealed the cricketer she fell in love with. And that gentleman is none other than former Indian cricket team’s The Wall, Jammy aka Rahul Dravid.

So, here is what happened.

Recently, during an interview for entertainment portal Telugu Stuff, a fan asked the beautiful actress which cricketer she admired the most, to which she, quite happily, quipped,

Rahul Dravid is my favourite cricketer. Ever since I was growing up, I have a crush on him. At one stage, I fell in love with him.

We don’t blame you Anushka!

Rahul Dravid was the mainstay of the Indian top order during the post match-fixing era. Dravid, who is the coach of the U-19 team, has to be credited for the rise of many youngsters, namely, Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson among others. Dravid featured in 164 Tests and 344 One Day Internationals respectively amassing 13288 and 10889 runs. He also has 36 Test hundreds and 12 ODI tons. Dravid was also the makeshift wicketkeeper in the 2003 cricket World Cup, where India lost in the finals.

Meanwhile, team India post routing New Zealand will host Sri Lanka in their backyard for Tests, hoping they would be able to maintain their winning spree.
