Indian women’s cricket team skipper Mithali Raj will now feature on the cover page of Vogue India magazine. The globally renowned fashion magazine is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its Indian edition and has released three different covers for their October 2017 issue which feature Bollywood Divas like Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Twinkle Khanna, Karan Johar, Padma Lakshmi along with Mithali, Nita Ambani and King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan.
Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor took to her official Instagram account to share several pictures of the cover page where the all the celebs could be seen in their designer outfits. She captioned the images which read, “A perfect 10! What achievers! It’s a perfect ten! Mithali can be seen donning a gorgeous black Johanna Ortiz jumpsuit and puffed up hair in the cover to the right of SRK. Nita Ambani can be seen wearing a stunning dress designed by Elie Saab that she pairs with harmonizing Valentino lace trousers. In between the two ladies is Shah Rukh Khan in an all-black tux by Raisson D’Etre.
Among all the stars from the Tinsel town, the presence of Mithai Raj is the most surprising. It clearly shows the rise of women’s cricket in our country. The lady skipper anchored the Indian side in the recently concluded Women’s World Cup 2017 held in England and managed to be the runner-ups.
