Virat Kohli has not even managed to get a 20+ score in his last 4 Test innings against Australia. This has to be the worst run of form ever since he started representing India. This is a big drop of form for the Indian skipper who is in middle of a huge Test series against Australia. Virat Kohli till last week held on to his number 2 spot in Tests. But, with the latest ratings having just come in, we discover their is a new person at that spot and that is Virat Kohli’s Kiwi counterpart Kane Williamson.
In fact, riding high on his ton against South Africa at Dunedin, Williamson has removed his English counterpart as well. That is surely a massive achievement. He is just second to the Australian skipper Steven Smith, who achieved a career-high in the ratings bagging 936 points. Williamson has 869 points, which is no mean achievement. South African great AB de Villiers is at number 10 in the ratings.

Well, this means the out-of form Indian skipper Virat Kohli slips to the fourth spot. Cheteshwar Pujara was at No.6 and David Warner sandwiched at the fifth spot.

On the other hand, there was some silver lining for India as Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja stayed firm on his numero uno when it comes to bowling. Josh Hazlewood is at number 3 in the bowling ratings. Mitchell Starc rounds of the top 10, he is at that number.
With so many Indians and Australians on that list, the remaining Tests at Ranchi and Dharamshala promise to be humdingers.
