Caught on cam: Mithali Raj, Veda Krishnamurthy flaunt their dancing skills during LIVE match! Watch

While Kaur was in the middle, hammering the Australian bowlers, the ever-so-serious Mithali Raj and teammate Veda Krishnamurthy started doing a jig

The Mithali Raj-led Indian cricket team will be playing the finals against hosts England on 23rd of July at the iconic Lord’s. But, this happened after India eves defeated the defending champions Australia by 36 runs. This in all probability will be the last world cup for Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami and would dearly want to sign-off on a high by lifting the crown. But what caught our attention during the semi-finals was Harmanpreet Kaur’s blistering 171* off 115 balls. But, something apart from that happened as well. If you missed it let us brief you about it.

Apparently, while Kaur was in the middle, hammering the Australian bowlers, the ever-so-serious Mithali Raj and teammate Veda Krishnamurthy started doing a jig. The best part was that the moves they showed us were not bad, it was rather good. The commentators sarcastically felt that it was a way in which they were preparing to bat. The dance was two hands in front and then groove, Mithali was having a great laugh over it. In the meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana was seen not paying a lot of attention to what her captain was doing.

But it is heart warming to see the girls in blue still have the fun part in them left after a grueling tournament.

Meanwhile, the final of the Women’s World Cup is slated for 23rd July at the iconic Lord’s. Before the start of the finals Mithali Raj spoke to the media and said, “I am sure Harman would be fit and wanting to play the finals. All of us are very excited to be in the finals at Lord’s. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity. (On her mid-innings dug out dance) Veda and I choreographed a song and I just reminded Veda about that when it was played out. I did not know the cameras were on us.”
