No, the headline is not misleading, it happened for real. The NatWest T20 Blast games have seen people coming out in good numbers to support their favourite teams. The stadiums have been noisy as they react to each wicket, boundary or achievement. But, this time it is not what a player did make into news. Apparently, two spectators came together to watch the match. When Surrey opener hit a towering six over deep midwicket, one of the spectators caught hold of the ball and caught it perfectly. The spectator’s friend was impressed with the effort and kissed him on Live TV.
It was very funny to watch as the spectator was surprised by the kiss on Live TV. Even the crowd responded to the kiss as they let out a huge cheer. NatWest T20 Blast’s official Twitter handle had a witty take on the matter, “When your mate takes an awesome catch & wins a GRAND. It’s time to be really, really nice to him”
Later on, Roy kept on hitting the ball out of the park creating problems for the Warwickshire bowlers. Roy top-scored for Surrey scoring 74 from 38 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 4 fours at a strike rate of 194.74. He helped his side post a gigantic total of 204 for 5.

But the target of 205 could not take Surrey to the semi-finals of the tournament. New Zealand duo Grant Elliot and Collin de Grandhomme rescued Warwickshire as they chased down the total with 4 balls to spare. Elliot scored 59 from 37 balls whereas Grandhomme scored 39 from 22 deliveries.
