England are playing New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy in Match 6. England will be eyeing to seal a semi final spot by winning this but it will not be easy against New Zealand, who were the runners-up ion the 2015 Cricket World Cup. England are traditionally not masters of the limited overs game but this time they have a different team with a whole lot of explosive players in their line-up and that makes them hot favourites for the tournament. New Zealand are banking heavily on Kane Williamson who got a hundred in their first match against Bangladesh. New Zealand won the toss and put England into bat which looks like a crispy top.
England got of to a decent start and just when Roy was looking to cut lose, he played the wrong shot and lost his wicket. England were 37 in the 8th over, when Roy got adventurous in the quest of quick runs. It was the last ball of the over. The shot if one looks at it was on, only thing he did not get any bat on it and that led to his downfall.
Unfortunately for England, @JasonRoy20‘s rotten run continues… #ENGvNZ #CT17

As we speak, Root has reached yet another 50 and England are well-placed at 160 for 3 in the 28th over. They are looking well-on-course to breach 300 and may be get even more as they have big hitters like Ben Stokes in the waiting. They also have to be vary of the Kiwi batting who also have the firepower.
