It was turnaround day for Pakistan as they bamboozled South African batting lineup in their second match in ICC Champions Trophy 2017. It was a perfect bowling effort from the Pakistani bowlers who were hammered around the park by Indian batsmen in the previous match. Pakistan bowlers left South African batsmen gasping for breath as they suffered a batting collapse and choked even before the knockout stages. One unique record was made as well as AB de Villiers recorded his first ever golden duck in ODI format.
But, Twitter had a mixed response when it came to praising Pakistan for their heroics with the ball as they expected a similar performance against arch-rivals India as well. Hasan Ali and Imad Wasim were the ones who made an impact in the game straight away.

Although not just Pakistan’s bowling performance but their poor decision making on when to take DRS (Decision Review System) or not came under scanner. They did not take the review when they were supposed to and wasted one as Junaid Khan appealed for leg before wicket (lbw) on a delivery that struck the middle of the bat.

Twitter praised Ali for getting two wickets in two balls and also bamboozling Wayne Parnell on the first ball and shattering the stumps. They trolled Ahmed Shehzad as well who got replaced by youngster Fakhar Zaman who scored 31 from 23 balls and got Pakistan off to a flier which in turn helped them maintain a good scoring rate early on and staying above the par score before rain played spoilsport.
