ICC Champions Trophy 2017 India vs Pakistan: Twitter filled with jokes after rain played a spoilsport

By the end of 10th over, India had managed to put a total of 46 runs without losing a wicket but as speculated earlier, rain played the spoilsport and interrupted the game. The players have to rush back to the dressing room while the covers were called on

Finally, the moment came when the most awaited game of this year, India vs Pakistan, began and a huge number of people kept their eyes on their TV sets. Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and invited Virat Kohli & Co. to bat first. The old day opening pair of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma were back and they were expected to smash the Pakistan bowling attack led by Mohammad Amir. However, the first over went maiden but both the batsmen didn’t loose the grip. The India vs Pakistan got interrupted two times with no overs deducted yet.

Shikhar and Rohit gave a slow start though but they were steady at the same time. Both of them took their time to get settled and then played in a way which they are known for and hit some classic shots which went out of the boundary line. They put on 136 runs for first wicket. Shikhar got out after scoring 68, Rohit and Kohli are still at the crease. However, Pakistan bowlers have slowed down the flow of runs.

By the end of 10th over, India had managed to put a total of 46 runs without losing a wicket but as speculated earlier, rain played the spoilsport and interrupted the game. The players have to rush back to the dressing room while the covers were called on.

Meanwhile, the people across the world who eagerly waited for this game got disappointed a bit and poured their emotions on Twitter and literally, their posts were hilariously amazing.
