ICC Champions Trophy 2017: Shane Bond feels Sachin Tendulkar was the HARDEST to bowl

ICC Champions Trophy 2017: The other two batsmen Shane Bond named in that coveted list are Adam Gilchrist and AB de Villiers

Shane Bond, former New Zealander has to be on of the finest fast bowlers to have represented his country. Currently, he is ICC’s brand ambassador for New Zealand, that is a big honour. He was also mentoring the Mumbai Indians outfit in the recently concluded Indian Premier League. The coveted ICC Champions Trophy is underway and New Zealand who are playing England today, desperately need a win to stay afloat in the tournament. He is currently a part of the Star Sports commentary team. This year ICC has introduced a way how they can bridge the gap between players and their fans. So, Shane Bond was doing Twitter Live where he was answering queries of fans.

One of Bond’s fan asked him to “Name three most difficult batsman you’ve ever bowled to?”

To which he candidly replied, Sachin Tendulkar is number one because he felt he had all the shots in the book which made it difficult for him to find the right length. Rightly so.

The other two batsmen he named in that coveted list are Adam Gilchrist the devastating southpaw and gloveman from Australia, he named him because he felt Adam was always looking to play shots. He also mentioned the name of Mr. 360, AB de Villiers, for AB he felt that no matter how fast you bowled the ball seemed to hit his bat in slow motion. That is how good and great the three are.
