India take on Sri Lanka today in a second match of the tournament for both the teams. India will need a win to seal their semi final berth, whereas Sri Lanka need nothing short of a win to stay afloat in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. For SL, it is good news as their best batsman and their captain Angelo Matthews is making a comeback. Virat Kohli would be looking to drive home the momentum and reach the semis, the momentum they gained after humiliating Pakistan by 124 runs.
One day ahead of the match, we saw both the teams practicing really hard, in a bid to leave no stone unturned ahead of the match. Matthews already said in his press conference that he was more than happy to go into the match as underdogs and Virat Kohli said they would look to continue playing the good, aggressive brand of cricket they have been playing.

We also saw the Sr Lankan team hitting the nets Lasith Malinga bowling a few balls to Angelo Matthews. They also warmed up on the field by doing some football drills. They need nothing short of a win to stay afloat in the tournament. We also saw the team management doing some blackboard work, chalking out strategies ahead of the game.
